I went to Wildflour Bistro with Greg last week for lunch, and this little spot has such a cozy, hometown feel. Itโs a really small place, just a few tables, and they donโt use a deep fryer, so you wonโt find traditional French fries with their burgers. Honestly, that made everything feel a bit more homemade and intentional.
We both ordered the Smashburger, and the first thing I noticed was the size. This thing was huge, stacked high, topped with bacon, and served on a bun that tasted freshly made. Soft, warm, and honestly, one of the best parts of the whole meal.
For sides, I went with the red roasted potatoes, and Greg chose the hash brown casserole. My plate (the one in the photo) was hearty, flavorful, and surprisingly light for how much food there was. It was exactly the kind of lunch that hits the spot without feeling greasy or heavy.
Wildflour Bistro may be small, but the food has a lot of heart, the kind of place where you can tell someone in the back really cares about what theyโre serving.
