I’ve spent nearly 30 years working in healthcare, partnering with health systems, hospitals, surgery centers, physician offices, rehab facilities, insurance companies, and revenue cycle teams across the United States. Throughout my career, I’ve managed everything from preregistration and financial counseling to claims, denials, compliance, and patient support. Along the way, I learned how these systems work behind the scenes, and I became the person my family, friends, and even acquaintances turned to when they needed help navigating healthcare.

After attending a women’s conference and hearing the stories of several nonprofit organizations, I felt called to share what I know on a wider scale. I wanted to create a space where people could find clarity, confidence, and guidance during some of the most confusing moments of their lives.

But my “why” doesn’t stop with healthcare. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that helping people is simply who I am. Whether I’m breaking down a medical bill, sharing leadership lessons from 25 years of managing teams, offering travel inspiration, posting recipes, writing food reviews from my culinary adventures, or reviewing books that spark my imagination, my goal is the same: to make life a little easier, a little clearer, and a little more joyful for someone else.
