This trip was such a fun mix of theme-park energy, beach calm, and relaxing resort time. We packed a lot into a few days, and every part of it had its own little highlight.
π¨ Our Home Base: Holiday Inn Resort Kissimmee
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort in Kissimmee, and it ended up being the perfect home base for the week. The location made it super easy to get everywhere we wanted to go, and the resort itself had so many little perks that made the stay even better.
They had a pizza place inside, a full restaurant, and the breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and everything was fresh. The resort also had a cute selfie backdrop that was perfect for fun photos, and the pool area was really nice, with plenty of space to relax.
π‘ A Full Day at EPCOT
We spent an entire day at EPCOT, and it was one of those days where everything just felt fun and easy. We wandered through the World Showcase, tried snacks, enjoyed the atmosphere, and soaked in all the little details that make EPCOT so special. The Food & Wine Festival was going on while we were there, so we sampled a few things along the way, including a couple of dishes from the India booth. If you want to see what I thought of them, you can check out my food review on my Food & Recipes page.
We also took a relaxing ride through Living with the Land, which is always such a peaceful break and one of those classic EPCOT experiences I never get tired of, and of course, I had to ride Soarinβ, my absolute favorite.
π A Quiet Morning at Cocoa Beach
One morning, we drove out to Cocoa Beach for a peaceful walk by the water. It was breezy, calm, and the perfect way to start the day. Thereβs something about the ocean that resets everything.
β¨ Wrapping It All Up
This little getaway had a bit of everything: a fun theme-park day, a relaxing beach morning, and a comfortable resort that made the whole week easy. It reminded me how much I love exploring different corners of Florida and how many memories you can make in just a few days.
