I just finished reading Captured by the Vampire by Kellie McCall, and itโs one of those paranormal romances that pulls you in right from the start. What begins as a dangerous encounter quickly becomes a story about tension, trust, and the unexpected connection that forms between two people who were never supposed to understand each other.
The world McCall creates is dark, moody, and atmospheric without ever feeling heavy. The emotional pull between the heroine and her captor is the center of everything, full of fear, curiosity, and that forbidden spark that makes supernatural romance so fun to escape into.
What I loved most was the heroineโs quiet strength. Sheโs scared and unsure, but she keeps finding small ways to stand her ground. The book leans into vulnerability, power, and the complicated space between danger and desire, all while keeping the chapters quick and easy to binge.
This one isnโt in my Libib library because Iโm reading it on my Kindle, and it was so good I immediately bought the next book in the series, and I'm already reading it.
