I stopped at Barbara Jean’s on St. Simons Island, and this ended up being such a great lunch stop. The atmosphere is relaxed and coastal, the kind of place where you instantly feel like you’re on vacation. And the food was really good, truly one of those meals that hits the spot.

I ordered the crab cake sandwich, and it was delicious. The crabcake itself was packed with flavor, tender on the inside, and had just the right amount of crisp on the outside. It tasted fresh and well‑seasoned, and the whole sandwich came together perfectly. It was one of those meals where you take the first bite and immediately know you made the right choice.
