I’ve been working in healthcare for almost 30 years. I’ve worked for or with health systems, health departments, hospitals, surgery centers, physician offices, rehab hospitals, insurance companies, and revenue cycle vendors all over the United States.​

During my professional career, I’ve managed pre-registration, registration, financial counseling, claims billing, denials management, third-party liability claims, insurance follow-up, insurance overpayments, insurance underpayments, patient collections, quality assurance, risk management, and compliance.​

As you can imagine, during my time in these positions, I learned much about how these businesses operate.  Because of that, I’ve become the go-to person in my family, friends’ group, and social acquaintances for help or advice on navigating these offices.​

After being inspired at a women’s conference and learning about several non-profit organizations, I decided to offer my support and knowledge for free on a wider scale. That is why I’ve created this outlet.​

My goal is to share my knowledge with you to help you navigate the United States healthcare system.​
